WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT PI SPEAKS SERVICES
JENNA OLSON, UWO STUDENT
Pascal,
Thank you for taking time out of your day to speak to our class! Your presentation was so insightful and inspirational to listen to. Your story made me reflect on how I should be more grateful for all of the things I have! I am so glad there is a future special education teacher out there who is so passionate about making a difference in students’ lives! Your students are so lucky to have you Pascal!
ALYSSA, UWO EDUCATION STUDENT
Thank you so much Pascal for coming in and talking to my class it was really interesting to hear you speak!
Growing up here in Wisconsin I really did not hear about refugees. Going into teaching that is something I will need to know about in case I do have refugee students so that I can help them the best! I am extremely grateful that you took time out of your day to come talk to us!

TEACHER
Thank you for sharing your story!!!
Hello Pascal,
I was interested in your story and how you came to America. It was interesting and engaging. Your story reminded me when I first came to America, although not as a refugee, but adopted. I was glad I was not the only one first experiencing winter in Wisconsin. I come from the Philippines, where it is constantly hot, so Winter was a shocker for me. Your final statement in the presentation was powerful and something to consider when teaching my students.
Thank you again,
LAUREN POSICK,

JOANNE, EDUCATOR @UWO
Pascal-
I really appreciated getting to listen to your story! I love how you are so thankful for every opportunity that has been handed to you. Listening to your story gave me an
opportunity to reflect on things that have happened in my life that I haven’t given gratitude.
I think that your final statement was very powerful in saying that being a refugee is a badge of honor. You are a survivor and you will make a huge difference in this world.
Thank you for sharing with us!
